a warm welcome to pumpkin spice season

It’s here. early and in full force… 🎃

‘Tis the pumpkin spice season - when every grocery store aisle endcap is stocked with pumpkin spice this and pumpkin spice that.

I hate it… but I also kind of love it?

Not the processed junk and the marketing tactics of the food industry, but the actual, REAL flavors of pumpkin spice and the seasonal produce of our colder months.

The natural flavors of pumpkin spice are actually quite lovely.

PUMPKIN - packed with vitamin A, potassium and polyphenols

CINNAMON - contains antioxidants that can help control blood sugar

GINGER - calming, warming and may ease stomach pain

NUTMEG - lots of antioxidants and promotes cellular health

CLOVES - may provide antimicrobial and antifungal effects

If you’re a PS lover like myself, save these warming and comforting recipes.
